About this Policy

LockScroll ("we", "us", "our") publishes the iOS application LockScroll ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, what it doesn't, who it is shared with, and how Apple's role as the App Store operator fits in. By installing or using LockScroll you accept this Policy.

What we never collect

LockScroll has no user accounts and operates no servers of its own. We never collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
• Location data — the App requests no location permission.
• Your contact list, calendar, or photo library.
• The advertising identifier (IDFA). The App shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt, uses no advertising SDK, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• Video or still images from your camera — see Camera & motion below.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. The App runs no ad networks, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally, inside the App's sandbox on your iPhone, and is never transmitted anywhere:

• Quiz answers from onboarding — the name you type, your screen-time estimates, and the goals you select.
• Workout log — push-ups counted, timestamps, and derived streaks. Stored via Apple's SwiftData framework.
• Blocked-app selection — the set of apps you've chosen to gate via Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time. Apple holds this as an opaque FamilyActivitySelection token; we never see which apps you picked.
• Your daily reminder time and iOS notification settings, used by Apple's local-notification system entirely on-device.

All of the above is deleted when you delete the App from your device.

Your pseudonymous ID

On first launch the App generates a random UUID and stores it under the key user.id in UserDefaults. It is generated on your device, is not derived from any hardware or Apple identifier, and is not linked to your name, email, or Apple Account.
