   This policy applies to BookGPT mobile application features, including onboarding, book search, character generation, chat, portrait generation, subscriptions, and support operations.

2. Information We Process

   We may process:

• User-provided content: search text, onboarding answers, prompts, chat messages, and feedback.
• Generated content: AI responses, character summaries, and generated portraits.
• Subscription data: entitlement status, product identifiers, renewal state, and restore events.
• Device and technical data: app version, OS version, crash/error diagnostics, timestamps, and limited operational logs.
• Local app data: cached recent books, cached character lists, and cached portrait assets stored on device.

We do not intentionally require highly sensitive personal data. Please do not submit confidential, medical, financial, legal, or other sensitive personal information in prompts or chat.

AI and LLM ProcessingBookGPT uses third-party AI providers to generate outputs.Your prompts, chat history, and related context may be transmitted to those providers to produce responses or images.AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or non-unique. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.

Copyright and Content ResponsibilityYou are responsible for the content you submit and how you use outputs.Do not use BookGPT to infringe copyrights, violate licenses, or reproduce protected works unlawfully.BookGPT outputs are machine-generated and may resemble existing content in rare cases.If you believe content is infringing, contact us and we will review and take appropriate action.
4. Subscription and PaymentsPurchases are processed by Apple.We do not receive full card numbers or full payment instrument details.We process entitlement and product state through subscription infrastructure providers to unlock and restore premium access.
5. Data SharingWe may share information with service providers strictly for operating the app, such as:

• AI inference providers.
• Subscription and entitlement providers.
• Hosting, diagnostics, and monitoring providers.

We do not sell personal data.

1. Data Retention

   We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

   Locally cached data remains on your device until deleted by app actions, app removal, or device-level cleanup.
